Kente was originally reserved for royalty, but today is worn by all who can afford the precious handwoven fabric. This loom-woven Kente is a triple weave called Fathia Fata Nkrvmah, and was purchased directly from the artisan weavers in Bonwire Weaving Village, Ghana.
